Privacy Policy
StreamZilla ("the app") helps you discover where movies and TV shows are streaming. This policy describes what data the app collects, how it is used, and the third parties involved. The author is Robert Nemzek (github.com/rnemzek).
1. Data we collect
- Account identifiers — when you sign in with Apple or Google: an opaque user ID (Apple
subor Googlesub), your email address, and your first and last name (when provided by the identity provider on first sign-in). - Profile information — any name, emoji, or avatar you set in the app.
- User content — your favorite streaming services, watchlist entries, and any messages you submit to in-app chat or support.
- Session tokens — an opaque random token issued at sign-in and stored locally on your device for up to 30 days to keep you signed in.
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or analytics/tracking data, and does not share data with third parties for advertising.
2. How we use it
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To save your favorite services and watchlist so they sync across sessions.
- To respond to support requests you submit.
3. Third-party services
The app calls the following services to function. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Apple Sign in with Apple — identity verification (apple.com/legal/privacy).
- Google OAuth — identity verification (policies.google.com/privacy).
- TMDB (The Movie Database) — movie and TV metadata. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. (themoviedb.org/privacy-policy).
- Watchmode — streaming availability data (api.watchmode.com).
- Resend — transactional email delivery for support replies (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy).
- Anthropic — if you use the in-app chat feature, your prompts are sent to Anthropic to generate a response (anthropic.com/legal/privacy).
4. Storage and retention
Account and content data are stored in a SQLite database on the application server. Session tokens expire 30 days after issuance. The database is retained for as long as your account exists.
5. Your rights
- Access & correction — you can edit your profile inside the app.
- Account deletion — you can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly inside the app under Profile settings, or by emailing rnemzek@gmail.com.
- Sign out — signing out from the Account menu invalidates your current session token.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be announced in-app.
